Who We Are
Thank you for stopping by to find out a little bit about us! We hope to meet you in person soon! The first time we stepped on this land we knew we had to share it with others!
My name is Renee and I was a nurse for years taking care of mothers and babies and loved being part of their new chapter. Now, I am excited to be part of this new chapter of our couples' lives.
My husband and I were married in a little white chapel in Aubrey, Texas. A passionate and caring lady owned the chapel, and she made it a wonderful experience that started before the wedding day even arrived. I fell in love with the idea of one day, being that passionate and caring fun lady that could help a nervous bride have the wedding of her dreams.
My husband Joe pours his heart and soul into our land and loves every minute of it. He is also a wonderful craftsman, which shows in the special touches he has added around the chapel and the land, like the handmade tables for the reception, to the heart-shaped pond he dug himself. As you look around our farm, you will see more of my husband’s passion when you see our field of baby pecan trees that will have us up to our ears in pecans one day. We also have an apiary and produce the best local wildflower honey. We hope to share the fruits of our labor as a thank you for being our guest.
In addition to our heart to host weddings and produce, we love our animals! Our three sons help us care for our three miniature donkeys and our numerous domestic animals. In the future we look forward to adding chickens, pigmy goats, and whatever animal steals our heart along the way. We would love to share our animals with you and your guests if animals are a passion for you, too!
